Claudio Donisi
Senior Psychologist
BSci, GradDipEd, GradDipEdPsych MAPS
I am an experienced psychologist who has worked in the field for over fifteen years. My experience has involved working in a range of settings within the private, tertiary education, and not-for-profit sectors. Throughout my career, I have managed clinical programs and professional education services. I have extensive experience in providing supervision and training to psychologists, provisional psychologists, and others in helping professions.
I work with adults, couples, and families experiencing a wide variety of issues and concerns. I work from an insight orientated approach based on the theory and practice of psychodynamic, psychoanalytic, and existential psychotherapy. This approach encourages clients to take the lead in the sessions in exploring what they see as most important, and developing their own concept of change, therefore feeling a sense of ownership around the therapy process. This can help individuals who are looking for more in-depth therapy or would like to explore deeper issues and concerns about themselves or their life direction.
Please see this link for more information about psychodynamic psychotherapy and whether it is right for you.
